The following two pictures are of MG Road Trivandrum near Ayurveda College Junction which is the most busiest road in Trivandrum District.
During old days while four laning of roads were carried out, they were done in two phases and dividers were constructed then itself, what is going on now is they dig some portion in the middle region of road and instant dividers are placed in that. Yeah it gets the job done very easily if carried out properly!!! What happens if its not carried out in proper way? The answer is here only, Check out the second picture.
Here since the time they’ve placed those instant dividers on road, the excess road tar removed form the region is left on middle of the road itself instead of removing properly. In this one you can see that protection is provided as work is being carried out, but once it gets over the road tar is left there itself posing a big security risk especially to the two wheelers who’re not familiar with the place properly and are travelling at night. Just imagine what happens if some vehicle runs straight into that heap? It will lead to severe accidents. Getting works done easier is good, but this? Isnt this utter madness? Also putting peoples lives at stake.
