It was a quick decision to watch 180, the new movie by Jayendra starring Siddharth. Had heard some good reviews and it had an unusual name so I decided to give it a try. After watching the movie, I can clearly say that I’m glad because I chose to see it.
The movie looms around A.J a guy who comes to Chennai from America for some reason, the conditions that made him come and the following happenings. Its about how a 180 degree paradigm shift occurs to A.J regarding life. The story really does got a very significant message and this is what I’ve to comment on it.
“Life is not merely about survival, its about making your dreams come true, its about making your loved ones happy, conquering your greatest fear, bringing some change towards the society by doing something meaningful.
Live your life as if you’re gonna die the very next day. Who knows? What’s in stock for tomorrow?”
The movie was very beautifully made by the complete crew with Jayendra leading them. Its a simple but significant theme but it was portrayed very beautifully throughout the film. It won’t be complete if I didn’t mention the picturization and cinematography in the movie. Hats off to the crew for making this a beautiful work of art. Background scores and songs also are matching the occasion and malayalam music director Sharreth did a decent job here.
Siddharth was the most suitable choice for playing the protagonist A.J and the two lead actresses Nithya Menen and Priya Anand also did justice to their roles. Its a bit serious in the second half but thats where the complete essence of the movie rests. Its indeed a completely entertaining movie with a valuable message which the director has been able to convey clearly.
